Tenth International Congress of the Brazilian Studies Association
22-24 July 2010
The Tenth International Congress of the Brazilian Studies Association (BRASA) will take place from 22-24 July 2010 at the Centro de Convenções e Eventos Brasil 21 in conjunction with the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the inauguration of Brazil’s national capital.
The congress will feature some 150 panels, special plenary sessions, workshops, and cultural activities. Our partner in Brasília is the Centro de Pesquisa e Pos-graduação sobre as Americas (CEPPAC).

BRASA has arranged for conference hotel rates with the three Sol Meliá hotels that are adjacent to the conference facilities:
the Meliá Brasil 21, Tryp Brasil 21, and the Tryp Convention Brasil 21.
These rates will apply for the dates 21-25 July 2010 and are shown below. Forms for making reservations are below, one for each of the hotels. Please fill in the appropriate rates on the forms depending on your hotel and the nights you will be staying. Send the forms to the address at the bottom of the form. The reservations will be made directly with the hotel, NOT THROUGH BRASA.
