LLILAS Benson is a partnership between the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS) and the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection. LLILAS boasts 60 affiliated Brazilianist faculty across campus, whose work spans disciplines from anthropology to zoology, journalism to cultural studies, education to social inequalities, and beyond. The Benson Latin American Collection houses over 60 archival collections of Brazilian materials, including documents of political movements, photography collections, art, concrete poetry, musicology, and cinema.

Other gems on the UT Austin campus include the Harry Ransom Center, a world-famous humanities research library and museum; the Blanton Museum of Art, one of the foremost university art institutions in the United States; and the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, official library of the 37th US president.
